Good Harbor Vineyards has been growing grapes and producing award winning wines on the Leelanau Peninsula since 1980. Having over four decades of winemaking history has allowed the Good Harbor winemaking and viticulture team to truly refine what varieties grow best on specific sites. This experience has allowed us to continue to increase the fruit quality and in the end the overall quality of our wines. Good Harbor Vineyards was founded on the idea that people should be able to afford to drink quality wine every day. We continue to strive to grow clean and pristine fruit in the vineyard and to use that fruit to make high-quality wine at an affordable price in hopes that our patrons will be able to enjoy Good Harbor Vineyard wines on a daily basis.

The rich color is a result of a ripe vintage and excellent extraction of Pinot Noir and Zweigelt together. The medium palate and the medium to long finish are typical of warmer growing seasons. The cherry aromatics found on the nose follow through on the palate along with flavors of raspberry jam.

Our 2022 Riesling is a parade of peaches and pineapple. The intense fruit aromas spring from the glass inviting you to join the party. 

Late Harvest Riesling

Coastal Red is a blend of the coasts.  The newly released blend is 75% Cabernet Franc grown on the Fresh Coast of the Leelanau Peninsula with the additional of 25% Syrah blended from the West Coast.  It has beautiful dark fruit notes of blackberry on the nose with a medium body and bright finish.  The acid on the end makes this wine ideal to pair with game, grilled skirt steak, brats and other types of sausage, and hard cheese such as fontina or parmesan.

The complexities that occur on your palate from the beginning to end are sure to delight your senses. Our 2022 Pinot Grigio has a full mid-palate followed with balanced acidity and a wonderful long finish. The rich creamy texture of this wine is a result of careful vineyard management throughout the growing season. We suggest pairing this wine with light pastas, salads, and light meats.

This wine has a sweetness on the front but is balanced by Vignoles ever present acidity.

Albariño

Kerner is a variety that produces lovely aromatics and has high levels of acid, which if produced properly will age for twenty years with ease.

This dry crisp sparkling wine has aromatics of grapefruit, pear, and hints of peach. It is most subtle in its presentation on the palate with a fuller body.

Sparkling Tocai Friulano

This sparkling wine is dry in style. Lingering fruit flavors are complimented by a hint of minerality in the background. The creamy texture on the palate and the lovely acidity makes this wine a lovely pairing for seafood or a variety of cheese and crackers.

Blanc de Noirs

Blanc de Blanc was made in an extra-dry style giving it the perfect level of sweetness on the finish allowing you to drink it alone or to pair it with a variety of cuisine. The wine has layers of apple flavors and toasty notes complimented by a creamy texture with a clean long finish.

The aromatics of cherry and plum work in conjunction with the light earthy undertones of this lovely red wine.

Merlot

This wine is a refreshing sparkling wine that highlights the delicate nuance of this lesser-known variety of the Pinot family.
